The Kilfitt 40mm Macro is the first Makro-Kilar produced by Kilfitt, the second being the 90mm.
Both the 40mm and the 90mm macros have a very unique double circular bokeh. The 40mm Makro-Kilar was originally designed for 35mm cameras when the standard widest focal length was 50mm. Not only a beautiful little macro, the lens was designed as a wide angle option, in Kilfitt’s words the benefit of “a fine wide-angle effect”.
