Lomo Super Speeds
Born in the Soviet-Era, these 1980’s lenses these were the highest performing cinema lenses being made in Russia, and their performance is still impressive today.

They are characterised by their soft focus falloff, distinct rainbow flares, low contrast, and blooming highlights when shot wide open. At T2.8 you get less blooming and impressive sharpness. No matter the stop, these look cinematic.

With their modern GL Optics Mk4 rehousings, this set of Super Speeds covers S35 with minimal focus breathing. The close focus has been greatly improved on all of the lenses, and the focus throw is now 330 degrees, which makes them buttery smooth. All lenses have a common front diameter of 95mm and matching gear positions, which makes them easy to use on any fast-paced feature, commercial, or narrative projects.

Lomo Super Speeds Sphericals set have all the characteristics you want and have flattering sharpness with low contrast and an incredibly vintage personality.

If you’re a fan of the Canon K35’s, Cooke Speed Panchros or Zeiss Super Speeds, you’ll love these. These lenses offer a unique vintage character without sacrificing performance.
