The Type SK lenses are made from the beautiful early 60s Canon LTM Range finder glass. Type SK is a homage to Japanese optics and also to Canon’s Original name “Seiki Kogaku” which means “Precision Optics” in Japanese.
These lenses have a beautiful bokeh, smooth fall off, and beautiful gold flares similar to the Kowa Cine Prominar. The lenses are sometimes known as the ‘dream’ lens set because of their soft highlights and low chromatic aberrations and pleasing skin tones.
Large coverage 24mm and larger image circle with no issues — great for cameras from the Alexa Mini to the Red VV to the Venice 6k. The 75, 80, 90 and 135 Cover the ALEXA LF open gate and ALEXA 65 in Anamorphic mode. The 50mm also has a massive image circle and could easily extract a 4K image from an LF sensor.
